A day before Pushya Nakshatra, people invoke
and offer prayers and then on the next day of auspicious Pushya
Nakshatra, they dig out the roots of SWETARK TREE and then they
locate the branching of roots that resemble the form of LORD GANESHA.Then
they use SILVER OR GOLD CUTTER to give these roots the shape of
Lord Ganesha, But at the same time they do not disturb the natural
shape of the roots resembling Ganesha, thereby preserving the
piousness and sanctity of the idol.
Swetark Ganpatis which have been sourced from the Swetark trees
growing on the banks of River Narmada ARE
CONSIDERED TO BE THE BEST. HEALINGS INDIA have
been in search of these Swetark Ganpati’s and could finally
locate an Ashram near the banks of Holy river Narmada, also known
as the daughter of Lord Shiva.
The Swetark Ganpati’s popularly sold in
the market are not made by the roots of the Swetark tree and are
artificially chiseled with normal blade to give it a shape of
Lord Ganpati.Hence these idols are not considered to be genuine
Swetark Ganesha’s. Whereas in Healings
India, they are originally brought from the Ashram
located on the banks of River Narmada where the priests do special
puja’s on the idols(using special vermillion powder).
Among Indian plants, Madar is a special kind of plant. It is poisonous.
Its leaves are not eaten even by animals. even then its full of
mystic and medicinal qualities. In Ayurveda, it is described as
a life-giving plant. The leaves, flowers and bark of Madar plants
are very dear to Gods but the plant of Madar is not offered like
other plants. It is avoided and condemned as a pain-giver. Perhaps
the insult of its creation was not tolerated by Lord Shiva, The
greatest among Gods, and he accepted it with much love.
Generally, Madar plants, with purple colored
flowers are found everywhere and this kind of plant is used as
medicine. But the Madar plant bearing white flowers is very rare.
This plant bearing white flowers is called SWETARK . One who finds
this plant is very fortunate to have Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva’s
blessings. Many great scriptures and mythological stories tel
that the buried treasure surely lies where the whit Madar plant
grows (Swetark) Poverty leaves the house where its roots exist.
Thus this plant brings prosperity. It acts as a protector also.
Lord ganesha lives in the roots of this swetark plant. Healings
India has found out such swetark plants after great labour and
have brought Ganesha’s idol which are made in a very specific
way out of the roots of these Swetark trees
